Which withdrawal limits the operators actually write down — and how many do not

A withdrawal cap is the one figure in the terms that only matters on the day something goes well. The rest of the time it is invisible. That is why it is rarely read before it hits — and why it so rarely appears in comparison tables. The limit matters most where one round can multiply the stake many times over, as in crash games.

Of a hundred operators in the fact library, fourteen publish a withdrawal cap. 86 do not.

A missing cap is not a generous cap. It only means that the limit lies in the operator's discretion, and that you find out where it is when you hit it.

A cap at discretion is close to the same thing as verification at discretion, and what «without KYC» actually means is covered on no-KYC casino in Norway. Which operators we rank, and where their cap appears in the terms, you will find on the best crypto casinos in Norway. The front page gathers everything about crypto casino Norway.

Why two such figures cannot be placed side by side

The fourteen state their cap in four different time frames: six per week, five per month, two per day and one per individual payout. And in three currencies: eight in euros, three in dollars, two in USDT — the fourteenth writes euros and dollars as equals.

Without the time frame and the currency such a figure is meaningless. 4,000 euros per day is more generous than 20,000 euros per month. 15,000 euros per month is tighter than 7,500 euros per week. A cap in USDT and a cap in euros are not the same size even when the digits look similar.

Operator Cap Time frame Clause
Oshi Casino 4 000 € day 12
Instant Casino 4 000 € day 8.1
BetPlays 5 000 € 7 days 6.11
PlayAmo 7 500 € week 12
Mirax 10 000 € week 8
Slotum 15 000 €/$ week 13
Wild.io 100 000 $ 7 days 9.6
Bitcasino.io 1,000,000 USDT week 6.10
Rocketpot 5 000 $ month 11.5
Wild Fortune 15 000 € month 11.8
Bitdreams 20 000 € month clause 11
CryptoLeo 50,000 USDT month 7.9
CoinCasino 500 000 € month 9.6
Bets.io 10 000 $ per payout 10

The distance from top to bottom in the table is more than a hundredfold. That is not because one operator is a hundred times more generous than the other — it is because the figures measure different things.

The one that writes its cap in kroner

One operator in the whole library sets out its withdrawal cap with a Norwegian krone amount. Wild Fortune lists in clause 11.8 the monthly limit in several currencies at once: «Monthly: €15 000, $15,000 USD, 22,500 CAD/AUD/NZD, 160,000 NOK (or equivalent).»

160,000 kroner a month is the only place in the data set where a Norwegian reader is spared a conversion.

It is worth noting what that line really shows: euros and dollars are set as equals, and the krone amount is a conversion, not a separate assessment of the Norwegian market. None of the fourteen has set a cap because the customer is Norwegian.

Eleven of the fourteen state more than one figure

This is the point where most comparisons go wrong. The fourteen usually do not write one cap, but a staircase — and the marketing picks the top step.

CryptoLeo states in clause 7.9 not only 50,000 USDT a month, but also 15,000 USDT a week and 5,000 USDT a day. Oshi Casino sets out in clause 12 4,000 euros a day, 8,000 a week and 30,000 a month. Bitdreams has 20,000 euros a month and 5,000 a week. Mirax has 10,000 euros a week and 40,000 a month. Slotum has 15,000 a week and 30,000 a month. PlayAmo has 7,500 euros a week and 15,000 a month. Wild.io splits it in clause 9.6 into 100,000 dollars per seven days and 200,000 per thirty days. Instant Casino states 4,000 euros a day, 10,000 a week and 20,000 a month.

The tightest step is the one that applies, and it is almost always the day or the week.

Three of the fourteen state only one figure: Bitcasino.io, BetPlays and Rocketpot.

The cap that only applies if you win enough

Rocketpot deserves a paragraph of its own, because the clause is built differently from the other thirteen. Clause 11.5 reads: «If you win $5,000 or more, we reserve the right to pay a maximum of up to $5,000 per month.»

The cap is therefore conditional. If you win 3,000 dollars, you are outside the clause entirely. If you win 5 000, you are inside it — and the payment happens over months.

CoinCasino has another variant of the same confusion: clause 9.6 sets 500,000 euros a month for withdrawals in crypto, while the fiat part of the same section works with a daily cap of 4,000 euros. Same company, same document, two orders of magnitude.

What happens to a balance larger than the cap

It is not refused. It is stretched.

Several of the terms say this outright: amounts above the limit are paid in monthly instalments. Mirax has, for balances above 40,000 euros, an instalment arrangement of 40,000 euros a month. Wild Fortune describes the same mechanism around the monthly cap in clause 11.8, with the currency equivalents above.

For almost every playing situation this is of no consequence, because almost every amount is far below it. It kicks in on exactly the one occasion when something big happens — and that is the occasion when you would most have wanted to have read the clause in advance.

What the cap does not tell you

The cap says how much can be withdrawn in a period. It says nothing about when the period starts to run.

The clock starts only when the operator has approved the withdrawal internally, not when you press the button. That approval depends among other things on the verification clause, and there the picture is this: at 49 of the hundred brands the clause could be read in full, and all 49 reserve the right to ask for identification at any time, including before a payout. Five of them state an amount with a clause number.

So two questions, not one, decide how much you actually get out this month: what the cap is, and how long the approval takes.

What you should read before the first deposit

Three places in the terms, all in the document you have to accept anyway.

The cap: does it exist, in which time frame, in which currency — and is there a tighter cap for a shorter time frame further down in the same clause. The instalment clause: what happens to a balance above the limit. The verification clause: is an amount given, or does it only say that identification may be required.

The brand does not give you the answer to any of the three — the company does. And several brands share a company: nine licence numbers cover 24 of the hundred brands, which means that the clause you have just read at one of them is often the same at «the alternative». Who shares a number with whom is covered under the licence numbers behind the brands.

And the payout itself costs something regardless of the cap. What it costs is determined by the network the coin is sent on — that is covered under which crypto. How the win is then treated for tax is under tax on winnings.
